Adoption is a highly complex area, with inadequate training and limited support failing children and families everywhere. Looking for someone who can cut to the core, answer your questions and give you realistic advice that you can put into practise straight away? This one's for you... I work with Professionals and families looking to support adopted people to the best of their ability. Together we will: - Consult and understand your knowledge base and state of awareness within adoption and related fields - Seek to educate you to understand any challenges and blind spots that are preventing you from supporting our community to the best of your ability. - Look to research to inform our understanding of current affairs and circumstantial barriers - Identify and learn tools that you can use straight away This is a service for allies of Adopted communities. My approach is empathetic, honest, direct and no-nonsense. I am not paid to agree with you, I am here to disrupt any misconceptions you may have, while praising and encouraging you to become more educated and committed to respecting the diversity within our community while embracing a trauma-informed lens. Each session includes: a detailed report and next steps.
