Key Areas: - Human Rights & Adoption: Explore how adoption can both protect & violate rights, while gaining crucial insight into ethical dilemmas across different countries & cultures. - Centering Adoptee Voices: respect & recognise Adoptees as experts of lived experience. - Adoption Reform: Analyze current proposals for reform & explore best practices. Long-Term Outcomes: Review statistics on care-experienced individuals, focusing on their challenges in areas of concern, such as: crime, mental health, homelessness & exploitation.
